Trading places

Although a bit windy today - I'll take upper 60's and sun with some wind over what we had early last week.

It's 48-52F around here, ha.  Those 70s down E/SE look great.  Complete flip from here and there from last week.

Fisher in for a surprise when they change that data.

NWS reached out for confirmation because one had some doubts about the data.

They've been under-reporting snow depth and might be correcting it.

This was Saturday, they had 6" or something.  Might correct back to 15-16"

It’s so filthy.  This time of year you get a whole winter’s worth of debris, pine needles and dirt littered on the top.  The more it melts the more crap riding on top of it, ha.

What a wet day, just a steady soaking upslope rain from like noon onward.

0.46” in the Stratus and just shy of 3.00” water past 4 days down in the village.

Station at 1500ft base of the ski area has had 3.71” past 4 days.

This foliage is going to go neon green with a couple sunny days.

Ha, I don’t think I’ve had 3” of rain since mid April or so. Just high and Stein, although frankly I’ve enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed that 9-day dry stretch where it was hard to even get clouds.  Never have to plan outdoor time around the weather… just go whenever is convenient.  Hike?  Sure whenever.  Biking or golf?  Go for it, dry all day.

Have had plans spoiled like 3 of the last 4 days due to rain, not a fan .

After your incessant daily updates on your gorgeous weather it's unlikely you're going to find much sympathy here.

Ha, for sure.  I am glad you guys are getting some nice weather, especially the south coast.  It's a great time of year to be high and dry.

Looks like a lot of SNE sites have had dews dip solidly into the 30s late this afternoon and evening.  BDL, ORH, FIT, IJD, etc.  Refreshing evening down there.

GFS bufkit still indicating potential for mid-to-upper 90's in the Hartford area Saturday

A bit of a marine later showing up at places like HVN and BDR, however, that is a very warm llvl airmass and wind component may be a bit more land than ocean. Could certainly see upper 80's even at HVN and BDR but once you get very close to the sound probably be like 7-10F cooler
