Looks like at the very least it’ll be cloudy with misery mist

You’ll have dry air working in so it won’t be drizzle. Either rain or no rain. In fact Saturday aftn may clear up as dry air comes in.

Honestly doesn’t look that bad to me outside of Saturday before noon for pike south .

It won’t rain anywhere except perhaps far SW CT Fri night and then the sun comes out from Pike to HFD during afternoon. I just don’t get all the consternation and whining and hand wringing. It could be much worse this time of year with a rainy cold weekend. That’s something to whine about

It doesn’t look good here at all. Was planning on throwing a partay for the bday but we’re cancelling. 40s, rain, and ne winds in May ain’t gonna do it for grilling, outdoor chilling, and kids running around living.

Upton:

Rain and clouds will mean below normal temperatures for both Friday and moreso on Saturday. Highs on Friday will be in the low to middle 60s, with some upper 50s possible along the coast. Saturday will only see highs in the lower to middle 50s, and it`s quite possible we will see slightly lower readings, given the prolonged northeasterly flow.

It may just be a slow cook ...  KFIT and KASH are both at/within 5 of the machine guidance of 70 and 69 respectively.  I guess if we make 68 at these sites it's not too bad.   Typically on the day like today at this time of year ...this has bust the other direction written all over it - for whatever reason, that won't likely be the case this time.

...while the world continues to put up warmest this that or the other -

That cold rainy weekend which you speak of will be firmly down here in Jersey. Consider yourself lucky

Live in the moment.  Very nice today.   Meeting 2 friends in back bay for dinner.  Think I’ll park in Coolidge corner and walk.

Right, right... should be a nice dreamy inspiring 56 F down by the water front -
