I do know the severe storms are hitting right exactly as schools let out. It only really sucks if you have to walk home like I used to have to lol That is very strange. They literally sent us al to the gym to finish classes for the day.

I just wasn't feeling it today. So many times these "severe outbreaks" are hyped up, and the we end up getting garden variety storms.
canderson
Nice gullywasher here (IE torrential downpour) with some solid winds. My gauge is down but probably a 40 or more mph gust.

Voyager
Noticing an increase in a cool breeze here in Tower City. When I first started loading the truck 20 minutes ago it was muggy and still.
TheDreamTraveler
I literally just put this rooms ac window unit in the other day and rain was coming through the sides slightly. Of course it would. Especially after buying this new computer desk I have near it lol. Heavy rain doesn't seep through unless its blowing directly at it. I have the edges sealed up for the most part but it still finds its way in

Voyager
Watching that line as it moves toward Tamaqua, and it's doing what they all do. New convection fires east of town toward Carbon County and the Poconos as the original line dies out. Topography for the win (loss). The I-81 corridor in Eastern Schuylkill County is a bona-fide storm killer.

Bubbler86
The 'Cane is basically gone on the 12Z GFS. Actually a fairly benign period with not a ton of qpf. Some occasionally chilliness. 540 line just N/W of PA.
