Wunderground overnight low for Monday went from 38 around midnight to 33 now in Williamsport. They are calling for an inch.  It seems possible now with the colder temperatures. I suppose the far higher totals shown on the models are now possible too.  I certainly am not counting on them but we will see.

6z GFS took a major step in the right direction for those of us that want late season snow!

Harrisburg, York & Lebanon to the north & west all are looking good this run.

Certainly a jump in the right direction for a Mid April Surprise.  Met's are scrambling this AM as townships are needing to know if they need people on duty tomorrow night. People here were just put on notice that they may be called in.

This looks like a DT map!

Not enough colors. :-).  It is also missing an area with no definition.   There are not really a lot of definitive maps as to what is considered  the LSV vs. MSV but most I see actually take the MSV well above Williamsport.   Other locals call that the USV.

I like the fact that most of the heavier precip appears to be in the evening, so there is a better chance of accumulating snow on the grass, mulch & car tops.

If it snows hard at 33 in the evening, its accumulating on hard surfaces as well. Twp is worried black ice/bridge ice tomorrow night as well.   Do not think anyone thinks this is a plowable but the salt might be out.  I was not joking about met's scrambling this AM.   I am receiving requests from clients despite it being Easter. Somehow the word is out.

Last train to Arizona?

No just to Tamaqua to get him on board for the snow. I'm sure he will be happy to see the snow express arriving to pick him up. Along with some of the winter mongers of american weather that he'll be able to sit beside. Question is whos the engineer of this train?

I would think Blizz. I think he's about the biggest snow hound in the forum.
