This is really good stuff and I read it a couple of times to ponder what you're saying. This is the time of year when sensible weather really can and does vary even just across the LSV and immediate adjacent areas. For example, a few Saturdays ago @Bubbler86was getting snow squalls with temps in the 30s while I was partly sunny and 50. That IS a big difference, and I'm sure there were those in Franklin county that had a much different perspective of how the weather was that day compared to those of us farther east. And that kind of difference is probably most often played out in late March and April - once you get into May, warmth tends to become more uniform in our area unless an east wind knocks our area down in temps. I have an Oak that has not budded either but that is more normal. Looking up onto the mountain, it still looks like the dead of winter. No green at all.
