Healthy water event for the Champlain Valley and into the Spine.  East of the crest was a general 1.00-2.00" with 2.00-4.50" in the CPV and west slopes.

BTV airport ASOS with ~2.5".

Charlotte, Hinesburg, Williston, Richmond, Jericho, Underhill swath seemed to jackpot.  Charlotte and the southern Lake Champlain basin on the Vermont side has had a very wet summer.

Locally towards the center of Stowe... 1.25-1.75" on PWS and I'll wait till morning to empty the stratus overflow.  Gradient event from west to east as the upper level energy pivoted through.

That first round of rain did pretty good here.  0.61" at my place.  Got very lucky with a swath of embedded +RN that moved through north of BTV into Underhill, Mansfield and eastward through Stowe.  North and south of that looked more like 0.15-0.35".

We'll see what the next couple days bring, models generally have around 2" forecast.

This rain today is epic, just keeps training right over me.  .5 in 20 minutes earlier, now .5 in 15 minutes and still going! 2.25"/hr rate.  1.25 so far today added to the .41 yesterday 1.66 so far.\

edit: 2.05 today 2.44 total and raining like a mother on and off still.  Curious to see Jspin totals too, it's just so nice to be in the train of moisture for the first time in a long time.  Looking at the radar it looks like another blast is coming!!

There’s a swath right from Huntington through J.Spin through Waterbury (your area) over towards Cabot and south into Montpelier of widespread like 2.5-4.00” event totals.

I was at 2.16” a little bit ago total.  Missed the heaviest stuff today like 10 miles to the south.

Can see the axis here:

Good catch, upgraded the Flood Warning to FFW?

On Wunderground there are a lot of 3”+ amounts since midnight that doesn’t include anything yesterday.

Only for western Washington and eastern Chittenden counties. Just saw one pop for part of Rutland county too.

Overall models did very well with a widespread 1.5”+ rain event in N/C VT with a good swath of 2”+ and locally up to 4”.

And we should have some left over rain showers tomorrow too, but likely more in line with 0.1-0.3”.

Three day rain event overall.  Good soaking.  I can’t remember the last time I saw the river “full”… not close to flooding at all but just full swift water from side to side.

Overperformer here - first siggy one since I can't remember when.  Forecast maps were giving my area 1-1.5" for Sunday thru now, and we doubled it with 2.58".  Thad 3 distinct periods of RA, though #2 and #3 were only a couple hours apart.  Precip arrived at 4 PM Sunday with 0.73" thru 2-3 AM, then the heaviest rate came 2:30-3:15 yesterday and by its stopping at 4 PM that patch added 0.46".  RA resumed about 6:30 and was steady until almost dawn, with 1.39" more.  Only dz since, but it's keeping things wet.  Today is a bit brighter than yesterday's Novie-character skies, but we're still below 60.
