kristia
Nice event here. Haven’t been out to measure but I would guess about 5” or so. The winds recently started.
nj2va
Sun had come out here earlier this afternoon but upslope has started again. 10 degrees, SN, and winds gusting into the 40s pretty consistently. Had a 50 mph gust a bit ago. WSW calling for 2 additional inches of snow through tonight.
Chris78
Ended up with 5.5" here in Smithsburg. Was really impressed with the temp drop between 530am and 630am ,about 10 degrees and then instant stickage basically as soon as the change over happened. Not bad considering it was 50 degrees at midnight.

clskinsfan
These streamers are crazy out here. If you are between them you get sun with walls of cloud to the north and south of you. Then once one gets over you you get mauled with snow and blowing snow. Cool stuff. And a rare occasion out this way.

Seems like a mod squall is leaving an additional inch. No way of telling exact accumulation but definitely verifying 8 or more.

You sure about that? Some of the leaves on the ground have a dusting on them but that's about it here. Sun's out too.

Before the lull, we may have gotten a quarter inch or so. Happy to hear the NW-W areas doing well. For me, this winter was more than okay, especially after a disastrous December. 10.25" on January 3rd was really all I needed. That was a great storm at a great time of the season. Yeah even though Dec sucked, and Feb and March(so far) produced next to nothing, I can't hate this winter because January was nearly perfect.

This winter was very much a forum divided winter. Further south/southeast you were the better!

La Nina winters really bring out the nuances of forecasting snowfall in this area. When you have blockbuster years like 2009-2010 it's tougher to distinguish the importance of what 100" in elevation or being one county too far west/east can have on a forecast event 12 hours out. poolz1
Down to 21 and the wind is still gusting 40+ at times. Went on a beer run and lots of drifting across roadways. Gotta be on your toes...from dry pavement to snow-covered in a blink.

CAPE
Took a quick drive to Ridgely to pick up a pizza, no more than 3 miles sw of here, and they jacked my snow. Looked like 3/4", which would have put me over the 20" mark.
DanTheMan
It is frigid out. Got home from work and measured again, still ~3” in most spots after some compaction so figure 3.5” total for the storm seems fair.
mappy
A Parkton spotter measured 4.4, to my south. Not sure I believe that, at most I had 3.5” including what fell during the afternoon. Def wasn’t over 4”.
