John1122
Looks like I'm gonna end at 10.6 inches. I don't think the light snow falling will add much of anything else. That gets me to 31.6 inches this season.

Dsty2001
Any word on that band that is swinging through? Hoping to maybe cash in another little bit of snow before this event ends
Jed33
Snow has picked back up again. Maybe I can get to 3in. System just kinda ran out of steam from Morristown east and north. 2-3in amounts are the norm here

My wife and daughter had to go to a cheer competition this AM in Sevierville-she said it was heavier in Morristown where I used to live. She said she only had 1 place where the road was slick.

Dsty2001
I do wonder what happened, when I went to bed the radar looked healthy and the snow was starting to fall at a good pace. Really expected to wake up to about 5", regardless I'm happy just to see any snow in March

Uncle Nasty said it happened to him for a while in Nooga.
John1122
Pretty widespread reports here of 9-10 1/2 inches. Elevation didn't even play a big role. Some of the 10 inch reports are from 1100 feet or so.
jrips27
Thanks for all the advice over the past few days y’all! Finished in the 4-5” range in Athens. I really enjoyed my time in Tennessee. Seems like this was a solid event for most of you! Thanks again!

Wonder if the colder air actually hurt us this time, higher ratio'd snow will have a harder time sticking on the ground especially if its wet. No. Colder is always better for sticking snow. For some reason snow just wasn't getting to the ground in areas to the East. Most likely some dry air pulled over the mountains.
Silas Lang
Looks like the snow has stopped. Ended with 7 inches. Not bad for mid March! I got more snow today than the previous events combined.

Seems like I saw a post from carver earlier this AM about a meso-low running up the spine of the apps or maybe even just this side. Could that have robbed this area or created a slight downslope component
Holston_River_Rambler
I have one of the cold air advection streamers overhead right now. Not really showing up on radar:

Holston_River_Rambler
So you're supposed to find the deepest area in your yard for official measurement, right? The place where the spring grass was already tall? Real final total will probably be around 6.5. Beer can is officially covered. 3
