Uncle Nasty
Actually it sounded like the sleet was letting up. It is because snow is picking up as the main precip type. The changeover from sleet to snow started at 1:45 a.m. Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
dwagner88
The sleet is stubborn. Still hanging on to 80% sleet. CC drop is very close on radar though.
John1122
Crossing 2 inches. Visibility around 1/4th mile or less. Wind has calmed down some or it would be full blizzard conditions.

Shocker0
Dry powdery snow here. The wind is insane, looks like a blizzard at times. Flakes still aren't huge either but have gotten bigger from earlier. I can't stand to be out in it very long.
BlunderStorm
Now 35 and mixing. No sleet in the mix from what I can see. Clean transition. Here we go.
Dsty2001
Is it very fine snow Shocker? Reminds me of some super high ratio snow I've seen before [edit] Doesn't seem like it would accumulate quick but from my experience it does

Reminds me of some super high ratio snow I've seen before Yeah it's fine, barely can see it when I look at my security cam, but when I go outside it's really obvious in the street light. There is no snow on my vehicle to note because of how dry and windy it is.
Dsty2001
Have a love hate relationship with that snow lol, if it is wet/icy before it falls it sticks to everything. Easier to shovel though
8283 El Nino Baby
25 degrees and a blustery snow. Flakes aren't huge, but everything is white. Probably at an inch so far. I am thinking I get to 4 inches max here on the middle plateau. Hoping I'm wrong but this system is moving fast

John1122
The fine powder is high ratio and it piles up fast. I had 11 inches in 3 hours during the blizzard and flakes were dime sized. There were just so many of them falling it was like a fog cloud on the ground. Similar conditions now. The blizzard lasted for almost 24 hours, this one is going to last 5 or 6 or we would be looking at 2 feet.

Then I went outside and could see it clearly. It's 24 here now and feels like 10. Unusual for such high ratio snow in Mid-March. It's just blowing everywhere so not gonna be the "pretty" snow like usual probably but will add up quicker maybe.

Hopefully if it pivots the back edge will slow down .

Dsty2001
I do believe the pivot is what is supposed to force heavier rates in the eastern valley but i could be wrong
