The web cam in Cookeville shows snow about an hour ago. How much do you have?

.

Only about 1.5" so far. It has actually very light at the moment. Looks like the southern end of the county may have gotten a good bit so far if the radar was actually snow. I'm surprised Jamestown would be graupel though as they usually would have snow while everywhere else could still be rain.

Based on RadarScope it looks like the I75 corridor is turning frozen south of Knox.

I hope we change to snow before that enhanced area just west of Knox Co gets here. That’s going to lay it down fast

Edit: unless that’s bright banding

It's actually pretty steady now that I actually went outside, but the flakes have become really fine and the wind blowing so hard made them hard to see on the security camera. Here's a pic. It'll have to pick up in intensity soon though to amount to much. It's starting to stick on our little road though.

1 a.m. temp check was 37.7° in Ooltewah. 15 minutes it dropped to 35.9. Rain with a few random flakes mixing in. Son in law on Signal Mtn reported 32° with moderate sleet with a few flakes mixed in for 20 minutes before going to a more snow less sleet mix.

Let the good times roll. I took a 4 hour nap and I'm ready. Please no more disappointment for our area. .

Local met saying 3-4" with embedded area of 6"+.

Wondering if the changeover won't happen sooner, MRX had us progged for around 3AM however my buddy in Morristown has dropped to 39 now, at this rate wouldn't be surprised to see changeover 30 minutes before
I started getting some sleet pellets mixing in around 37 degrees here.
