33 degrees with snow, about 3/4 of an inch.

Literally this might be the hardest snowfall all of winter. You can see the accumulation in real time literally by checking every 5 mins,that's how hard it's snowing here.

Heavy snow with huge flakes. Street is covering fast.

Definitely heaviest snowfall rates of the Winter here visibility has to be less than a 1/2 a mile Looking at radar and what has already fallen this easily would have been a warning level snow here if it happened that night or was a few degrees colder

No kidding everything is pretty white here too. And coming down hard..its almost noon and it's quite a event if you can see heavy snow in daytime and it sticks.

It was like that here at around 11, now lightened up again. Dumped decently on colder surfaces during the burst but still nothing on paved surfaces.

Elevation probably played a role. I’m at 200 ft while the shore definitely isn’t, and I’m further inland where it radiated better last night and we started off colder. That said it’s tapering off now and probably not much additional accumulating with the high sun angle and it being 33. 

This would be 4-6” if it was a month earlier with a few degree colder temps and better ratios. I guess it’s a decent winter sending though. 

In Long Beach it did snow for a little while but now it’s back to light rain and nothing stuck. This time of year it gets tough for the city and shore unless it’s quite cold or at night.

1.5" in Smithtown. The street was covered, but is mostly melted off now as the snow has become lighter and the mid-day solar is doing its thing.

Snow began around/before dawn and coated the ground before stopping and initially melting off.  Snowdepth on the board was 1.5" as of about a half hour ago.  All the precip here has been snow.  Temp stuck at 32 - 32.5 all morning.

Seasonal snowfall is now over 35".
