March 9 Rain/Snow Event (Possibility of a few inches of wet snow for much of the subforum, most likely north and west of NYC)

Light cold rain here. Was heavier earlier but no snow at all; no one was expecting anything more than a few white rain showers here. But still nasty out and will mean a good day to stay indoors; just ask my dog....waiting for a contractor as the wind the other night blew my big blue spruce down. Planted it in 95 when it was but a shrub, it must have been some 25-30 foot tall. Heartbreaking. My dead oak is still standing; minus some heavy branches. Gotta get that one taken down as well. Gonna cost me. Ugh.
