hawkeye_wx
Best GFS run so far... a decent March snow event if it accumulates as well as models suggest.
cyclone77
Looks like the NAMs stopped trolling as badly as they were. Looks like a nice little 2-3" of temporary cover on the way for the QCA.
Hoosier
If there is going to be a winner in terms of sleet, you may be looking at him, although there's still some uncertainty on ptype/timing of precip types locally.
CheeselandSkies
Strong tornadoes to 4" of snow in less than 60 hours...welcome to March.
hawkeye_wx
The 12z Euro dried up somewhat in Iowa. It went from being one of the most bullish models to being one of the driest. The band across northern Illinois would likely be pretty wet.

Hoosier
A little surprised that LOT didn't go with an advisory farther south for Lake/Porter, though it's a trickier call than farther north. Would not be surprised if one is needed.

Upstream radars are lit and definitely supportive of some heavier precip rates as it moves into the sub. Have seen some heavy snow reports in KS.
