Yeah, but I feel like there simply wasn't anything around those times you said that (maybe I'm wrong). We have a severe threat this time, it's just mainly south of I-80.

CheeselandSkies
https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/ww0536.html Cells firing in far southeast Iowa with another further north, just north of I-80 NE of Des Moines. Biggest is the one between Centerville and Bloomfield. No warnings out as of yet. Some hints of rotation already per KDVN radar, but glad I sat this one out as CAM idea of initiation close to/maturing and after dark seems to be holding true. CheeselandSkies
Sounds like SPC tacitly waving the white flag on sig threat with this MD. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md1797.html
cyclone77
Nice storm moving through. Had brief round of penny size hail with continuous thunder for quite awhile. Over an inch of rain and counting.
Chinook
sort of a three-supercell complex. storms dropped 2.50" hail west of Walcott IA
Chicago Storm
Had a severe t'storm pass just north of here at home a few hours ago, which produced some hail along it's path of travel. Ended up with a fairly good light show with it here, especially for nearing late September.

Chicago Storm
A severe t’storm headed towards here at ORD faded as it approached, but it still provided great garden variety action.Looks like home may have faired a bit better, with a more sustained line of severe warned t’storms having hit there a bit ago.
