SPC SWDY2 has the southern parts of the CWA in a "Slight Risk" - I had noticed early this morning how the radar was fired up around the NYC area so I expect that is where the backdoor front was at the time. I suppose wherever it wobbles/settles will be where the convection will be. In any case, am still sitting at 68 and sunny with dp 62.

So far the storms have fizzled before reaching the Teterboro area, but the radar to the west looks promising. Just ordered pizza. Should get here before anything significant rolls through. It was a nice day up here, only reached 73°F and has been pretty much overcast all day. Meanwhile, back home in Reading, my back yard PWS reports a high of 94.1 with a current temp of 89 there. I have been periodically looking at the radar as little cells form, expand as they move to the east, and then fizzle. KamuSnow
Made it to 87F here, a little warmer than I expected. Been feeling a little breeze out of the general NE direction, which helped earlier, but now it feels muggy, with the DP at 71. Current temp is 83F. Heard some thunder crumpling in the distance, looked at the radar and it would seem to be coming from that storm up around Norristown. Must have some oomph, for all the thunder. Rockem_sockem_connection
Came back from down south on Monday. Was gone for 2.5 weeks. Zoysia looks good but my ttf went yellow, been drowning it to try to bring it back. Must of been fairly sunny and dry I guess?? Might be moving to the beaches of alabama though. Spent my whole life up north. Love tracking snow but I've really had enough losing 3-4 months of my life every year to mother nature. Hate not being able to grill, fish, go for walk, etc comfortably without wearing 18 layers of clothes. Just ain't no way to live. It's still in the 60s in parts of the Midwest and it's June so God bless those folks idk how anyone can live like that
