Brief downpour gave us .18" of rain. Surprisingly little wind as well, given how much that aspect of todays storms had been hyped.

Damn, how can't you have wind? A solid 20mph+ gust here at times...would be a little eerie working on a rooftop :oldman:

The 12Z NAM had that being a thing later on.  Actually, the 12Z NAM checked out pretty well.  Hopefully it comes through with this later line.

I can't believe how sunny it is here w/rain not that far away? I mean sunny. My window is facing west so I'm expecting a wall of clouds at some point soon.

Damn...76F

Yeah, it's been pretty sunny here as well for last couple hours.  Hoping that will help the next round.  Up to 79F and 67 dew.

Lots of sun.

The front is sortof creeping along but it is cooler behind it.

One of my sisters just texted and asked "What happened to all the rain and thunderstorms and tornadoes?????"

She had pushed herself doing some outdoor weeding and other stuff in prep for the rain.

Temps were in the 50s back behind the front (from a couple hours ago).
