Anomalous morning at DCA per @Ian. Not as anomalous at BWI. Low of 22 only coldest since 2015 when it was 21 on March 29th.

Amazing period of early Spring cold.  Went for a lunch time walk with air temps hovering around freezing with a cold breeze.  Sunny afternoon, but the sun did not feel warm…impressive!!!

DAMN it's cold out there. Walking at lunch was not very fun.

We're currently running about 6-7 degrees below the forecast down this way. Seems unlikely we get even close to the forecast high of 54(??) with it being 40 at 1:30pm. What guidance was Sterling looking at?? Jumping back through the NAM runs from yesterday, none had Cville above about 46-47 for this afternoon.

it’s crawling into the low 40’s and clouds look to hold off until sunset and dews won’t be above 15 by 6pm and winds are still nw so bank on something other than rain at onset

Not exactly on spot for 10 in 1 hour but have dropped 9 degrees since 7pm or 90 minutes. 36 currently , 45 at 7.
