Expand Actually was at 1:05 this morning. 5-min obs make me wonder if even the 82 yesterday was accurate. There were only 2 obs that made it to 80 yesterday and both were sandwiched by missing or 3 degrees cooler temps. Euro, UKMet, and Canadian all have 3-5 inches on 10:1, but the Kuchera ratios are lower with an inch, maybe two in spots. GFS less, but maybe still a coating to a half inch. Also had snow showers and a slight dusting on some elevated surfaces in 2020 on May 9th. Looks like a good chance of some late season accumulating snowfall next week. Expand It’s going to be interesting for the northern suburbs, and especially into Butler/Beaver/Armstrong. Don’t think anyone actually gets the 3-6” NAM/GFS/Euro are saying, but wouldn’t be surprised to see some heavy falling snow, with grassy areas white. Expand Those 10th/90th percentile high temp graphics the NWS puts out on social media seem to indicate a lot of uncertainty, but with a hedge toward the warm side.
