GFS does this ever year ... circa mid March until early May even...

It scrubs the initialization's radiative forcing out in time ... ( think that's what it's doing)... Whatever it does, it ends up back in January by the time it gets to D10 and beyond.   It's s both a separate phenomenon/ .. model short-coming that's annoying ( and I'm beginning to wonder if I am the only person on the planet that's noticed this in springs), but also is different than the cold pattern between now and roughly April 7 we've been tracking.   The latter should be exiting by the end of the first week of April.

It goes wildly against it's own extended GEFs telecon numbers which neutralize the NAO hinting even positive,  with -PNA by mid April.   Pretty much opposite that look.

Don’t worry about your car dude. There were lives at stake there. Instead of filming, run up the side of highway safely and warn incoming traffic as best as possible.

Yeah...But he had, "stuff in his car".  Then when he said he had to get way from the road, he went a few steps away from the road, then right back towards the shoulder, and his banged up car.

Yea, that was idiotic. And that guy who got out of his car and then the truck ripped into it, wow… lucky. Never get out and just stand there, run to safe place immediately.

Looks like BDL's low max may well be crushed by 4 degrees... and the wind is just ridiculous

Records also likely falling at ORH, BDR, PVD, and NYC

Midnight highs may just barely prevent records at BOS, MHT, and CON

Excellent...might as well set some records if it's going to be like this.

That dude who hit the sign at first and then stood outside his car almost got bundled into the next life.
