I know lawn cleanup is tempting on these days but really shouldn’t be done until early to mid April,  because you are upsetting the overwinter habitats of the pollinators by raking too early.

Yeah told my guy around 1st week of April

Me too but they're in your house, they're in every house, the other day while I was working a big ass spider crawled up to me on my desk, I tried to smash it with my lamp but he got away, he's still lurking somewhere.

Lurking and plotting revenge.

Oh yes they are everywhere indeed.

@weatherwiz is always debating between spiders and house centipedes, I think. Same here.

At our MD place, every year is another battle in the endless war between wolf spiders and house centipedes, who have been mortal enemies for 100 million years or so. Some years, the spiders are dominant, other years the centipedes reign supreme. Either way, you walk into your bathroom at 2 AM to piss and there is some huge multi-legged POS right there in your face.

One year I didn't see a spider all spring into the summer which I thought was odd as I always see them. One hot, humid night I come home and my foundation is covered with centipedes, hundreds of them. I ended up getting some WP Demon and sprayed a few times and got rid of them but it was like a scene from the twilight sone. Wiz would have freaked out. Before I killed them they started getting into the house everywhere, with my central air they would dry up and die but glad I got rid of them.
