I wouldn’t be locking in any amounts until this time tomorrow night.

Should be a nice hit for many in SNE/CNE

I think it is a decent lock right now.  Hasn’t really changed much nor do I think it will.   8” for you methinks

That’s a nice map, what software did you use to make that? Im looking to learn how to make my own maps.

Thanks.
I use a computer software program called grads. Grads is free, loads of fun, tons of variables all levels of the atmosphere.
I run a script and then photoshop if needed. It's so versatile one can program a model run 000h to 384h. NAM, GFS, RTMA, RAP...
IM if you would like help in setting it up.

You tap into a little of the DGZ at H5, but most of the lift there is below it.

There would probably be some garbage crystal formation there around H85 which could maybe seed that warmer layer above it. The upper level omega would seed it too so that torchy layer isn't too big of a deal.

Weren’t folks just saying the snow growth stinks with this? Think it was SeymourSnow?  Now it’s not?

It’s reliant on the model and the particular run but yea, I’ve seen better:

even the previous frames, the best lift is below the dgz. Admittedly, I’m not the best at this but I’m learning.

You're right on the edge of the sleet there. What's it look like a few hours earlier?

Nothing epic...maybe 10-12:1 there and closer to 8-9:1 in that other sounding you posted. Ginxy will come at me with the Cobb numbers now.

I feel like these are almost always dense baking powder. 12/16/07 was maybe an exception for 2 hours in the middle of it which helped with the positive bust (not totally because of ratios but busting through the DGZ helped cool the column better too) but even that one was sandwiched by dry cement on each side of it.
