This is a crazy forecast! Screenshot_20220223-231319.thumb.jpg.e9e9042d83cde36bc611332447a5505a.jpg

All about wind vectors, density push of cold to the north southbound , oh and sun angle makes an impact at around 9:30 am onward to about 3:30 pm.   Warm ground surfaces will also impact I’d think especially the closer to metro areas and 95 you go.

36 here. Looks like some chilly light rain today and maybe a more substantial chilly rain tonight. Temps should be pretty steady here until rising later tonight.

Pretty cold up here. Just dropped to 30. Probably an extended period of wintery precip here later today.

Good luck. This event has been pretty much locked in for days now with some frozen/freezing precip up that way.

I just hope the road crews have something better to do around here than drop a bunch of salt on the roads.

Late winter weather/spring weather is the worst of the year

Wind of change.
Hearing peepers at night is telling.

Although we haven't heard squat so far.

By May when the Gray Tree Frog invasion is well underway, we know  the prep for 70 dews is just around the corner.

But after an evening late spring thundershower, their chorus is so soothing!

Later in the summer it changes as other nocturnal insects join in:
