dendrite
I thought Gene may have been exaggerating a bit, but those back trees in my cam have never been 100% obscured by snow before and it got pretty close to it 5 mins ago.

DavisStraight
I was in that little space between bands and got just a little light snow. Towns to my north and south got the whiteout conditions, missed it here.

wxeyeNH
These snow squalls are vicious. The one that went through here only lasted 5 or 10 minutes but it snowed about the hardest I have ever seen it. Tough to measure with a roaring wind and snow that was on the ground from a bit earlier today. Here are 2 pictures from the Nest Cam just before and during the squall. It was a wow! What would you say that visibility dropped to? Tomorrow I will fly the drone to get an exact distance to the edge of my stone wall.

Lowest visibility I’ve ever seen from snow.

backedgeapproaching
Nice shots, definitely didn't see VIS that low here, meat of line went south near far NW MA. Did pick up close to 3", though more due to duration. Think Mitch over to Mt Snow had 5-6"

eekuasepinniW
I wish it had been dark. Squalls are so much more fun at night, slowly watching distant lights dim out as visibility drops. I really miss the warm glow of snow lit by sodium streetlights. Color temps above 3500k outside at night just make me irrationally angry.
