Grilled sun is one of my fav dishes! It’s a bit spicy though. Careful if not a fan...

So is that Crapvection out here in Loudoun, or an area that may end up doing something! I swear I saw this area on the HRRR earlier! Pretty wild to see stuff form where models thought.

New Severe Thunderstorm Watch dropping for Delmarva until late this evening.

Curious to watch the evolution over the next few hours.     The main line to the west is going to have a tough time making progress towards the DC-Baltimore metro area until much later, but the 18Z HRRR and NAM Nest now agree on cells breaking out just southwest of DC in an hour or two and then racing northeast into central and northern MD.

Looks like the crapvection racing ahead of the main line is going to use up any instability. Hope we can pull this one out because it was looking good for a time, but it always seems to be something in these parts.

• Sun has broke out in last 90 minutes and temp/DP has soared from 61/58 to 72/64. A warning just to my NW went up about 15 minutes ago and I can see a storm incoming in the distance.
