biodhokie
From rooftop of Tysons, can definitely see the shelf cloud getting bigger and bigger. It's not backlit so it doesn't look as ominous.

psuhoffman
Power still out up here. Hear sirens a lot. I cleaned up the yard somewhat. Found the pool stuff 2 doors down. Kids playhouse was mostly ok. Lost some tiki torches and some big branches but nothing too bad. Neighbor lost a tree. Heading out to find somewhere with power to get the kids dinner. Maybe Westminster. Hank Scorpio
A little gusty just before the rain moved in, but the star of the show was the hail here in Leesburg. Got up to about quarter sized before calming back down.
Kmlwx
I mean...unless it collapses...I'm liking radar for MBY right now. Yeah..the outflow is right on top of me almost....but radar looks good and almost looks bow echo-ey well into MoCo.

I think it's more just the rear part of that "seahorse" shape. Don't think it's a down/microburst.
Kmlwx
I'm kind of surprised LWX didn't have that warning go a bit further north and east - especially since we tend to get warnings for 50mph storms.
NorthArlington101
The advertised 40-50mph winds on radar did not reach MBY. Stormy but don’t think the leaves ever felt in danger
mattie g
Radar looks super impressive for MBY, but it’s pretty much a garden-variety storm. Decent rain, a little breeze, and the occasional lightning strike.
