Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 400... Valid 221909Z - 222015Z The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 400 continues. SUMMARY...A cluster of storms with severe wind gusts continues into southeast Virginia. DISCUSSION...A cluster of storms moving through east-central Virginia has a history of damaging winds with reports of dozens of trees and powerlines down in Fredricksburg and a measured 62 mph wind gust at Quantico. Radar depiction of this cluster remains impressive with 65 to 70 knot outbounds from KLWX.
