This untrained not spotter experienced heavy rain, no wind, and the occasional thunder.

Mid-Atlantic severe at its middling best!

I’ll see that and raise you to light sprinkles and only distant thunder!

Congrats route 50/I66 crowd

I will say most of the CAMs had this depiction. Pretty much all of them had the action just south of my yard. Maybe I can catch some pity rain later with some of the stuff upstream, but that looks to be headed mostly south as well. Might be sprinkler time by tomorrow.

Suns out.  Light rain shower. Hope this fake severe day is done and my deck dries up quickly. I need my outdoors open (and not wet) for beer sampling!

Sampling the fourth (out of four) of the "new" 2022 version of DFH 120 min IPA. Had a 2020 vintage yesterday and man I still love the old recipe, but can't hate the new one. More of a triple IPA than a dank barley wine and will probably be loved more by 'hopheads'.

Repeat later today? Daughter lives a few miles south of me and said it was a wild hour or so in the early morning. I didn't hear a thing!

Is there a way to get a radar loop of this? I was on Waugh Chapel Road in Gambrills this morning right by School of the Incarnation and noticed some peculiar tree damage in an isolated area across the road from overnight (I pass this everyday so I know it was fresh).

At the time, I didn’t know a storm rolled thru… now I’m interested if the tree damage was related.

Ok ok. You got me sold! Next bottle I see that says 2022–I’m all in! I do have a bottle of Utopias barrel aged World Wide Stout in waiting, but I’m trying to save that for the next blizzard.

Good stuff. Not as good as the original or the BBA version imo, but good.

The 2022 120 min IPA has a different look to the artwork on the bottle, so easy to tell. Also has the abv listed for the first time ever (16.6%).

I have the sprinkler going now lol as mother nature provides some light sprinkles and drizzle to supplement

Soil already pretty dry here with the trees robbing everything.
