Where's whining? I said "In all fairness every local outlet called for 1-3" which we received."

Try decaf...

You’ve been whining all morning and declaring  “it’s over” even while it continues to snow and will for the next couple hours, well beyond what was forecast.  The GFS Had depicted the heaviest snow in SNJ and next to nothing in SEPA.

you need a new hobby if you can’t enjoy this event.  Just relax and enjoy.

Measured 1.9" here, still getting some light snow. Nice to see everything snow covered again! Nothing on the driveway except at the far end where it's shady. Don't know that I'm going to bring that back to the snow pile, lol.

Yesterday was really nice, spent the afternoon splitting wood, tested the results (lol) last night in a kettle fire, watched it start snowing a little after 11 pm, had a dusting by the time we went inside. Beautiful day!

Fwiw the HRRR doesn’t taper things off in SE PA until 5 or 6 pm this evening adding up possibly another inch. But we are kind of just plateau’d right now at 2.2” despite being under a decent band because of the temps and sun melting things as fast as it falls. Still a very nice winter day and expectations have been smashed down this way especially with how warm it has been the last few days. Wiggum rule ftw… :snowman:

It's nice scenery and I just took a walk which is also cool but when it doesn't stick (actually melting) it's over...

Exactly.

It's better to take a walk in a wooded area w/no roads/pavement rather than sit inside where you see it melting...

You've been a wet blanket all morning, no offense. You can't even enjoy a pleasant snowfall. Instead you are chirping about drip drip, melting road, March vibes, spring feel in the air, birds in your yard speaking to you, etc. Lighten up, and enjoy it.

Still have some SN- with finer flakes again and temp bopping between 32/33 and with dp 30/31 (still have not gone below freezing for this event so far, so melting continues on warmer/treated surfaces).  Did another measure and clear for an additional 1/4" for 1.88" total so far.  The band in central PA (from KCCX radar) finally appears to be thinning, so the western edge of what is really a broader "firehose" than what KDIX is showing, is starting to break up.
