Harry
Yeah the GFS can suck it with that ice. Go north or south I don't care but not that crap. Thankfully far enough out that one or the other is almost a given. I suspect it will end up a bit further south in the end. Just not sure how much further south?

It was certainly not in the same category as GHD I and II. It gave me over a foot of snow, so yeah it's GHD3 to me. Your turn for this one.
sbnwx85
I got 10” from the last storm. I can’t remember the last time I got back-to-back big dogs. If for nothing else, it’s for that reason I think the one will go northwest of me. I’ll be pleasantly surprised otherwise.

Toro99
Yes please to the 18z gfs. Fully in love with a single operational run from a single model. Some cold rain, followed by a half inch of ice, followed by over a foot of snow. Even though I might lose power, I am still rooting for this because it would be historic.

SolidIcewx
Slightly north and deeper but strap in fella’s time to ride the rollercoaster of models and emotions the next few days. Looks like more precip as rain?
Hoosier
Almost seems like tradition to get a jacked NAM run. Let's see if 00z heads toward one or perhaps it will be on Monday.

Hoosier
Quite a band of ice on the 00z NAM. Probably would have trouble accreting that with the rates.

Also only out to 12z Thurs. GFS didn't really amp low till later Thurs morning into afternoon. Also seems nam may be a tad slower.
RCNYILWX
NAM looked like it would be a hit here, just not as amped as 18z GFS and also a bit slower. Important cycle for the varsity models tonight. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk 2

Felt like talking about the 84 hr NAM is bad enough let alone beyond.

Radtechwxman
If I'm not mistaken, I think the energy that will be responsible for the wintry component of the storm system Thurs comes onshore sometime early tomorrow. Hopefully that sampling will help models.
