Enjoy the snow, and hopefully folks along I-95 in the metros get in on the fun. The best lift is shifting NE though and the intensity of the precip will likely wane some as it moves east/se. Nothing here and not expecting more than some light snow later this morning at this point.

The GFS lol. It did try to adjust some at the very end but not really close to depicting reality.

The band that’s formed down this way just west of the blue ridge looks like it means business. Been watching that thing for a good 30 min and it has continued to strengthen. Pearisburg is getting the goods. Hoping this continues to march this way. Congrats to everyone north of here cashing in. @psuhoffmanand @nj2vakeep em comin

Eyeballing around 1” with tiny flakes still falling. Will go out to measure shortly. Temp is 31.6

Was fairly pessimistic when I got back from the Wizards game last night around 1030. Temp was still 44. But did get a 6F drop in about 90 minutes between 11pm and 1230am. Still, most of the snow fell with above freezing temps.

2-4 inches? 100% chance, eh?

That must have been a typo.

It is bone dry in Kent County, lol, it’s barely sprinkled a few drops of rain.

Northwest trend for the win, things back to more normal.
But the GFS suckered us lowlanders on this event. Everyone eventually  gets a turn on screwage in the mid-Atlantic. Over time  it happens way more often on the shore.

Been almost 20 here for the season and won’t complain. Carry on!
