Is that station now defunct? I could've sworn I got my 113" total from that coop years ago but I can't find it any longer. Theres another one close, but it only has data going back to 2021

No i still see it on the BOX site. But the 2010s decade for E Wareham is pretty bad on data....a lot of missing data, but it appears to have gotten better again more recently in the 2020s.

Thanks, I just found the BOX site for it. Yeah looks like 104.2", still crazy

What's weird is once you mentioned the 113", I remember it too now. I wonder if something was revised. Did you get anything in November 2004? I noticed it's 0.0" but there was a decent event for SE MA I think on 11/13/04 but E Wareham may have been too far south.

Missing data for that on the E.Wareham Coop, but the closest I could find was 11/13/24 for the Middleboro Coop had about 3.5".  Either way, I'm leaving the 113" for now until I can figure it out :D

10 years ago, when the Jinx started for us out west.  These maps bring back painful memories

I remember for a while this storm looked dead - there was a moderate coastal storm right before it that everyone was complaining was gonna kick this robust setup OTS.

Then the 12z runs about 96 hours out or so had a HUGE NW shift… by 0z everyone EOR was in elation. Tons of noise leading up to game time, including the WOR head fake, but I’ll always remember the celebrations when it became clear that this wasn’t going OTS.

What did you get on that? I’m sick again so just passing time looking at that storm looked like an epic Deform band from Ray to Ginxy for 6-8 hours while you got more WCB.. looks like 18-24 for you?

It was like 24-26” or so. I wasn’t home for it and was all wind blown. Was best guess.

Yes, the euphoria as the Manitoba Mauler showed up on the modeling that Sunday was at least tantamount to Boxing Day miracle in '10, probably more so because the season had sucked to that point. I remember Scott had an epic melt leading into it. Thanks for the memories.

PDII the storm itself was kind of pedestrian in terms of rates. It was basically like 1” per hour for 15 hours and then another couple inches each side of it. As far as 20” storms are concerned, def somewhat “boring”

But the modeling aspect of it was quite exciting. It just kept inching north every run from like 4-5 days out. It was a clean whiff on a lot of guidance at D4 and then just a slow creep north. GFS was last to the party as usual back then. Took until really close for it to hammer SNE.

Yeah that's a good recap as I recall. I forgot it was #1 for BOS and Baltimore, though ratios played a part iirc
