I started taking those as soon as it started (noon or si, IIRC). We were piling it up right out of the gate with incredible rates. Mitch cleaned up being in the pivot point. Downed tree and several limbs whole way up access road. Then again I didn't have a smart phone with a camera just my Samsung Intensity keypad phone lol. I do need to dig up my pics from Jan 26-27, 2015 blizzard though. I was part of the jackpot band in Boxboro at the time. What a great storm. Ended up with 5.5" Then Mar 1st solid 6" er all snow. Feb was a bit frustrating but still good nontheless. (Not quite old enough to have seen 1888 but I'm 1-of-3 for the others - 2" in Ft. Kent from 2/78 and 4.5" from the Octobomb, while 4/82 blasted Aroostook.) That winter in SW CT was overall a great winter with great March snowfall, even with the Feb. dissapointments. It's funny how the mind works, getting a solid 7 inches in the blizzard but feeling ripped off due to a poor forecast. Getting a solid 10.5 while eastern areas get 16. It was like 8.5" of snow in 4 hours and then a quick bout of ZR/IP and them some FZDZ for several hours. High was like 23 or 24F until FROPA spiked it to 31F, lol. I love the mesonet map the next morning with all the temps missing in the interior where the ice was epic. Also, check out that temp gradient near/just north of Ginxy. That low slices right through SE CT/RI/SE MA and brought that gulf air with it.
