Yeah we had 2 snowfall events that month-- I think that was the one in which the crane accident happened in Manhattan that killed a person.  We had heavy snow back here that morning that dropped 4-6 in like 2-3 hours.

looks a bit more promising at hr 36 vs 12z .better neg tilt. but not sure how that extrapolates down the road

The icon pretty much did it, but the NAM wasn’t far off from a pretty good hit Bos to pvd. It wouldn’t take an act of god to turn this into a 6-10 event. I wouldn’t forecast that currently, but it’s not totally dead

Yes that 2/8 storm was a disappointment. Some model runs were trying to give a lot more but we ended up getting too much shortwave interference inside of 48 hours and it turned into a mundane moderate event….the 2/5 event was much better.

I couldn’t care less what we get at this point. Like I said last week, I’ll remember this winter fondly due to my all time personal total from the blizzard. It’s all gravy
