Funny story, my son had been perusing the interwebs and my wife looked at the history and thought it was me.

With the current guidance advertising the track as OTS or graze, the recent pattern shift, with tendency being AN UL height anomalies over our heads should —all else being equal—help us out significantly in bringing this closer to the coast.

The EPS looked better, and the 6z euro op looks closer to the 6z GFS, although the euro likely would be a little more east. Either way, it does have a pulse.

Snow begins before the Super Bowl so should be a nice wintry feeling as we drink IPA’s and enjoy the game and kids all get snow day Monday. Probably our last storm with the big pattern change signaled thereafter

I wouldn't call that on life support given it's still 4.5 days out...there's several members that give at least advisory snows (I counted about 15 out of 50 that do, so that is 30%) and it's a little better looking than 00z. So the trend is in the right direction.

We do need an improvement though at 12z or I would call it on life support.

Depends...the GFS did recently get schooled by the Euro but given how important the NRN stream is here you can certainly argue the way its gone this winter the GFS may be more in tune with this

I’ve noticed there’s still some very old habits that the Euro has to show something or it’s not likely to happen. The old reliance on the Euro still lingers. Old habits die hard . Folks have to get past that
