yankees102110
Every model had at least 8 inches here with some a foot plus, I have about an inch and a half of new snow. The snow line ended up 15 miles NW of me, I think I’m signing off for the rest of the winter LOL. A tad over 20 inches on the season now.

Flying MXZ
Seem to still be alternating between sleet and freezing rain, although we are well into the “blue” radar. 26°

crossbowftw3
Meanwhile: I’m in the middle of a pretty remarkable situation down here in Sullivan, where I’m still by and large all rain where everywhere around is icing, with temps between 32 and 35 depending on where I look. Can’t imagine that stays for any more than another hour or two.

Started snowing but now I'm down in east Greenbush where the sleetfest continues. Absolutely horrible commute with the ice ball bearings impossible to manage

BGM Blizzard
Flipped to all sometime around 6am I'm guessing. Mdt rates right now... eyeballing an inch or so of snow so far. Temp down to 17.8°...
cny rider
So where did the term “jebwalk” come from?
winter_rules
I’m feeling fortunate that we don’t have significant ice damage. Could have been pretty bad, but the temp held at 32° most of the night and it was a pretty steady rain (vs. light mist) so it didn’t build up too much. Still dealing with all sleet at 8:15am and 23°. Half inch total frozen stuff on top of whatever is left of our original snowpack. Happy for the NW folks! Seems like it’s been a good stretch of winter for y’all!
Syrmax
Totals here, 7.5" / 0.73 liquid. Total ratio 10.2:1. The 2.5" that fell after 10pm had 0.28" liquid equivalent, only a 9:1 ratio. Up to 10 pm was 11:1. Odd, would have expected higher, not lower ratio, later in storm. Noticed the Rome report here earlier was about a 6:1 ratio. This is why I stay clear of Kuchie Koo maps.

There's a dude on here (Jebman) who was also a poster decades ago on, I can't remember if it was Easternuswx or Wright-Weather (former forums), who is extremely passionate about winter and his walks. At the time, he lived in the Mid-Atlantic (now Texas...strange...lol) and would post about his many walking adventures in the snow with many adjectives. Just a very funny, enthusiastic guy who "blogged" his "Jebwalks" for all to read. The term has stuck. 2

CoolMikeWx
Morning Morning folks,Heavy rain yesterday and I believe we didn't get much higher than 42. Surprisingly we lost snow pack but not as bad as our friends to the south.Extreme freezing rain here for a long time so far and it doesn't look like it transitions to sleet until this afternoon so it should make for a fun day.Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

BuffaloWeather
11.7" storm total 71.5" on the year. Thought we would get higher based on radar but the flakes never really increased in size here. Pixie dust nearly the entire day.
TugHillMatt
Best snowflake size of this entire event falling now. I can actually SEE the snowflakes easily. SWFEs hate Syracuse. Our topographic situation sucks. We shall see what today brings! Hopefully several more inches so we can near a foot.

BuffaloWeather
Looks like a pretty uniform 8-12" across the area. Snow depths below. Going to do a sample later to see how much water is in this stuff, going to be the highest I think in quite awhile. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF

Buckeyes_Suck
Very dense 12” in Clarence, a little less out in west falls. I think this is the deepest snowpack I’ve had since moving to Clarence 5 years ago. The Snow allowed one of my dogs to catch a squirrel, thankfully the dog just wanted to play and let it go. 1

DeltaT13
Right around 10-11 inches total right now but my snowboard location was particularly vulnerable to drifting with this wind so I had to measure a few other less reliable places. Still pretty good consensus around the yard.
vortmax
Seems there's still some precip to come through due to a weak 3rd wave. A bit scattered, but may keep frequent snow showers going and a moist atmosphere for some LE... I hope.
