Yesterday morning was my first real taste of what living at almost 1000' elevation can do. I'm at the top of the southern part of Parrs Ridge. I can literally watch the snow decrease as I head down the ridge towards 70. It's always 2-4 degrees colder soon as I get to the last mile home. Cold at night here too. AA County is tropical compared to here. 18 and watching dark clouds moving in from the NW.

Sunrise cold, cold, unexpected 1/2" +/- is quite an unexpected treat. A rare positive forecast bust (sure LWX advertises this now but not so much during SB evening.) osfan24
That snow squall was easily a top three event of the winter for me. Roads instantly caved, snow coming down at a good rate, wind picked up, etc. Just picked up a very light dusting, but roads are white. Will be a nice walk to the bus stop this morning.
WxUSAF
That was fun and pretty but didn’t add anymore than a wind blown dusting.
