Modfan2
I think the colder trend is real, just don’t think it’s to snow; think pike south could be a IP/ZR fest. Trend is your friend
JC-CT
lol I just realized that FRAM output is freezing rain and not ice pellets (Freezing Rain Accumulation Model). I'm a dumbass

CT Valley Dryslot
It's gonna come down to how much CAA we have and where the low ejects. Obviously for the latter, it has to exit south of NYC.

tavwtby
looks like I'll be toeing the line here, please trend colder cause ice ain't welcome, but I'm afraid seeing ice here maybe in the future, ice to snow before it's done is the worse case scenario for the roads, I wrapped my truck around a pole after rain, flash freeze, then snow on top

ORH_wxman
Looks really similar to 06z. Its a tick colder over NE at 63 hours but a tick warmer over PA...so that southern wave might try and push north.

That brings back bad memories of January '96. Mom's basement was a swimming pool, as feet of snow melted all too quick. Then within a couple weeks it looked like the melt never happened
