It's picking up nicely with radar blossoming well to the WSW.  I just finished shoveling and it looked like 1/2 - 3/4" per hour rates.  I'm at 13.4" as of 2:30pm.

PQI area shouldn't have had any mixing. I think our system defaults to the last report type you entered, so my guess is that was supposed to be snow.

Aroostook was in the teens (singles at FVE) when the significant precip arrived there.  In fact, they were already in the 20s yesterday afternoon.  Nuthin' but flakes.

It's a bonus when just enough freezing rain mixes in with the sleet to turn the slushy ice pellets into a solid mass.  The main roads in Worcester are looking gnarly right now.  Looking at the trees, we've been getting quite a bit of freezing rain here.

I tried to get a photo out the window, but the screen is iced shut.

yeah my last measurement brought us up to 1.5" sleet on 0.88" liquid.  And that was on top of 0.61" rain.

disgusting.

The funny thing is that it may last longer than last Saturday's fluff bomb.

Finally some sad little flakes mixing in....

certainly will!  It's double the QPF this go around.  The pack went, per daily 7AM obs, from 11" to 9" to 8" to 7" to 4" to 2" before we started accumulating again.
