There are prob going to be some crappy flakes mixed in soon because the cold layer gets to like -9C or -10C which supports snow growth even though its torching above that layer.

HinghamBoss
Fascinating to look at the WxUnderground temp map this morning. 35F in Hartford and 30F in Boston...I get the mechanics per the commentary this AM, but still fascinating to me. Connecticut Appleman
Frosty sleeps with the fishes after this. There is still snow cover but we are still at 33 degrees (I'm at 1k feet for elevation). Don't anticipate much happening here. I would love a sleet fest, but we are in the fourth quarter... mahk_webstah
How do we get that radar that Brian shows, that shows the mix line? I want to see when we go back to snow.
IowaStorm05
Stalled out temporarily at 34F for 11am. I kind of want this to hurry up in order to time our driving to be most likely to be after roads have been treated. The scariest part are when things are deteriorating but have not been addressed, because often people are still driving at speed.

In Jeff's hood too, but I've not seen anything bigger than 1/4" here. However, we're 16 hours since the changeover and counting, with about 10.5" of 8-9 to 1 stuff, nice and dry except for the bottom inch, which needed to be bounced off the shovel occasionally when I was measuring at 7. tavwtby
just now finally getting a couple pelts rotting at 33 for hours, seems like it's moving now, winds here have increased a bit from the NW now, not drastic, but something

HIPPYVALLEY
I'm still surprised how far N the mix went and how long it lasted. I thought sure Dendrite and Dryslot were good for some warning snows.

PhineasC
Currently at 14" Snow seems to be more of an upslope nature now. Rolling through in waves. Will need a couple more bursts of high-ratio moose fart stuff later to hit 16". Should be doable. Great storm so far.
