SolidIcewx
Hopefully just a tad more north. Would love to go out in my 4x4 and get good pictures. Hope everyone is not having too bad of heart attacks yet with the models

If it nudges just a little bit more, we could still get a couple inches out of round two, the round one totals are way more nicer in 18Z and further north

NEILwxbo
Well the SE trend we feared seems to have stopped for now. Wouldn’t take much of a bump to bring higher totals north, but models seem locked in

I'm laughing because the point is just off the call I made a few days ago, which goes in and out of style depending on which model I'm riding at the time Not too into the lake here with this one but intrigued by a northern fgen band

I keep remembering this winter one of these forecast originally in NIL and it ended up in southern WI. Not 100% but pretty sure it happened. Brian D
I've been quite entertained by the emotional roller coaster ride on this event. It really has been a while for some of you.
SolidIcewx
It’s a strong arctic high pressure depending how fast the cold air moves in can be either good or bad depending where you are located. I’m hoping for a Nw shift like have In 2014 with winter storm ion

janetjanet998
as some have mentioned 21z RAP good north bump also seems to be rather north with part 2 at the end, at least some overlap possible with round 2 for me too if this pans out
RCNYILWX
Could be anecdotal/bias but I feel like these tend to drift north more than south at the last minute.Have noted a bit of a northward shift of the general forecast placement of axis of maximum 700 mb f-gen. So immediately on the warm side of the f-gen you might get a solid northern band as long as the dry air issues aren't too much to overcome. The location of mesoscale banding is one of the most challenging of many challenging elements of winter weather forecasts.Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
