Euro MJO staying in the COD Well we have managed a hair above normal for this time of year in bad conditions in Newark area, and while the storm was only about 4-8 inches in areas west of the city ( my BIL in ME called that a dusting but even they only got about a foot; they weren't in the epicenter either ) it was enough to push us to about where we should be for now, so there's no denying it's possible to see some more events. They may not be big, but honestly a normal snow is enough for most.

We can definitely end up on the snowy side of this if that confluence presses a bit more. Would be a nice overrunning event!

Volcanic Winter
Just happy this month is potentially shifting towards less of a torch. 50 degree days in February depress me. Let’s keep some cold in place and kick up those snow chances.
