Even with accums that were not on a historic level at my spot, the storm still seemed "Bigger" here than the 13" from earlier this month. I mean because the snow got everywhere. In the walking tunnels, in the doorways, against the walls. Natural 18 inch mounds between cars. The uneven look and all the drifts gave it that "Major" storm feel even if we technically only got 9"

Of course you should could Feb 13. Or would you count the snow you got on a trip to Aspen Colorado as a backyard hit?

Well, I moved out of CT late Jan13…it wasn’t just a trip out of town. But still, removing myself from the equation, 9ys  (thesedays) is below avg of not experience a 18+ event. Some areas in neweng have seen 4 or 5 in that time period.

I’m still under 15” for the season.  :(

I’m at a whopping 22.4” for the season but, at least, it’s looked like this since the middle of December. (taken just now out my front door). I do miss the big coastals from MD but I love the constant cold and snowpack.

I agree with you. That 22" in North Burlington looks a little suspect. The 19 in Southern Wilmington looks pretty Good and the others east/southeast of that look good due to that band that tickled us but yeah, that 22" amount is a little suspect. Might have to Data Clean/Quality Control some of those totals but not much.

I'm still not buying it. Canton reported 21, I used to live there before Walpole and we were always similar as Canton, Stoughton, and Sharon all border each other. 9 inches higher is so much more. Qunicy at 30, Canton 21, Sharon 30...it doesn't make sense. The band skipped over Canton?

Measured 20 here in Canton and it was clear we were on the western edge of the band. Was shocked by the 30 measurement in Sharon, considering they are even further west

So there's like no measurements for Tolland and Hartford Counties, so I'm just going to guess I got 15".

@Damage In Tolland what did you get?

Coventry and Tolland both had 14”-15” BOX generally ignores our whole country .. so you won’t see many reports

You can't just check the latest PNS, as they are just adding new ones that weren't on previous reports. There several reports from between 1-3pm...probably a few more inches afterwards, depending on proximity to that mega ORH band. The 10 in coventry from noon is super suspect - me and Iowa storm are both only 5 miles away from that reporting location to the south/southeast and we both had amounts consistent with the second coventry report further NW of 7" at 2pm. The 5" Storrs one seems low, but is from a trained spotter. I saw a report of 10.2" final from Staffordville at like 930pm, but they were closer to the ORH band, and just further east in general.
