LSC97wxnut
Daughter insisted on playing outside for a couple hours this morning. Just on the edge of the band in Newtonville. 4-5" after measuring a number of spots? Blowing everywhere, so impossible to be sure. Visibility under 600' when intensity pulsed up.

The arctic air is probably part of the season it chased that convection/vorticity, and side stepped me. These CJ deals always do that...you pray it moves inland, and it remains pinned inside of rt 128. I know it more mid level fronto than OES this time, but same end point. Unbelievable....the beat goes on. Agree. Our area does best when there is rain and/ or mixing issues on the Cape and South Shore..

jbenedet
NESIS doesn’t factor wind and cold, and this storm is a top contender in this regard. I’ll def remember it for these qualities alone.

Should be back into decent snow growth mode across mid and upper Cape with temps continuing to fall @ 26°F I think we do fairly well over the next 5-7 hours. It's always more favorable when the winds start backing NNE. The band is starting to build over the cape..and it coincides the the 700mb low moving east a bit.
