Baroclinic Zone
Temps have crashed. 22F. Barfing/puking dendrites sideways. Vis near 0. Not much more to say that this looks to be the status quo for hours to come.
dendrite
395 must be a mess. That band is aligned perfectly with it.
Torch Tiger
Just now, JC-CT said: Storm isnt over yet...banding still might set up west of the 700 fronto in the CCB. Just that the fronto is also setting up east. Anyway, I've never seen Ray not be honest about assessing where he went wrong, ever, so no idea what angle you're coming from. The best banding is highly unlikely to set up well to *our* west. That's all

JKEisMan
Not too bad under the very narrow weenie band right along the NY state line from Ridgefield- Danbury - New Fairfield, but nothing like out east

NBD When it's time to assess, I do and will. But am not sure Iwould consider being off by 10-15mi in the placement of a meso band a huge forecasring failure. Calling him out for not assessing a bust before the storm is over is premature. If/when that aspect busts, I have no doubts whatsoever that Ray will do an honest assessment on his blog. 2

drstuess
Temps down to 18 at the home weather station in the north end of Narragansett. Wind ripping and good amount of snow, but flake size is small so doesn't fully feel like it is fully nuking. Not sure how much because if the drifts, two stairs covered on the front porch.Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
