Except for the wind really cranking, that subsidence was kinda boring. Back into good rates now

Depth on the snow stake hasn't increased since about 9:30, despite having a couple of hours of approx. 2" rates during that time.  Safe to say we have at least the  13" on the stake and probably a good bit more.  I was happy with my 9am obs, but since then measuring this one is a royal mess.  No idea how to get an accurate number now.

The stake is near my boards on flat ground in the most open spot I have.  My neighbor has more of a hill in front of his house and the "waves" on his lawn look a little like swells on the ocean.  My lawn has more uniform snow depth, but clearly a lot of that snow is going somewhere else.

Upton did really well with holding their ground with the 7-11 for NYC even with the models going east yesterday. If anything NYC may overperform a little.

Yes, the park has 0.86 LE as of 1:00 so probably 10" there, I'd say we have 8-9" on the East side (due to losing more from melt at the start of the storm). I can't imagine other parts of the city having much less than that.

It’s easy to lose track of all these high end snow events in recent years.

Maybe they don't break the record then.  Idk.

They could break both though.

Just spoke with my dad who lives in smithtown (borderline kings park) and they have well over a foot. He’s at around 16-17”

I have about that in commack, maybe slightly more since I didn’t get any subsidence today.

I am not sure what my final total is here in Rockland I will go with around 5 inches as a guesstimate but I will take it after the possibility of getting NADA was on the table and to you guys who made out and got 8-10 a foot or even more ENJOY the snow as there will be other opportunities for us to get the goods up here
