The 10+ inch line just about runs from Brooklyn up the bqe thru Central queens and the bx..its puking snow atm and the winds have picked up again.!!..you should be close to 7-8 by now.. HVSnowLover
Hasn't really snowed hard the whole storm, moderate at best but based on reports and eyeballing maybe around 6-7 inchers. Ratios sort of salvaged this.
EasternLI
Love how the radar never really dried up over here between bands lmao.
NYC10023
trying to decide whether to head back out to Central Park (after walking around there from 630-930) now that I've had breakfast or wait a while. Snow is still coming down pretty good here, what are the odds it's still like this around noon?
HeadInTheClouds
9* with light snow and windy up here in central Dutchess county. Hard to tell how much but best guess is around 2 inches.
Hc7
Still snowing strong here in south/central Nassau, visibility is poor and winds are kicking still. If I had to guess id say theres gotta be at least 12-13 inches on the ground already with no signs of it letting up soon.

LongBeachSurfFreak
About 8” on the uws. Probably not going to make a foot but 10” is within reach. With all the blowing and drifting it seems allot more impactful then a normal 8” storm

Shades
I wonder if we go lower than forecast for tonight, it's currently 17 in NYC, forecast low of 13? I can see how we tick up a few degrees if we break into some sunshine later this afternoon, however it's also currently only 5 at Mount Pocono (about a 100 miles northwest from the bird's eye). Lots of talk on snow, but people who may be waiting to shovel snow tonight, or go out and about believing the storm is done for their Saturday night, would be putting themselves at risk; can imagine stranded or immovable vehicles, and with these temperatures, that would be foreboding. Frigid/hypothermia inducing temperatures is less sensible than snowfall. People could be putting their lives at risk. I hope the media and we do well to inform others as needed.
