We may be talking over each other but if I was the euro printing the qpf, I’d give him 1.6-1.8. Whatever ratios one wants to use after that is arbitrary.

I still remember the blizzard of 2005 when I was 20 years old in Providence. The storm ended I believe in the afternoon the following day. I still remember how everything was an eerie silence for awhile afterwords, that was soon followed by distant scraping and metallic sounds as people began to dig themselves out.

On those radar images the inner Cape just gets decimated, while CT gets less intensity but higher fluff factor?

Isn’t that inner cape stuff sort of a paste capable of collapsing roofs?

Fair enough, what do you think for us western losers?

Part of me thinks we get robbed so our qpf is overdone. The other part, the weenie one, thinks we tickle the mid level goods with less wind and pile up the fluff. Honestly, I don’t know anymore but it’s fun and I’m flying in the clouds regardless.
