I initially forecasted 16-20 inches of snow in the Boston area once I saw the Navy jump on board a couple of days ago. Is it possible that I was too…. conservative with my forecast? My forecasts bust all the time, but usually the other way.

Going from wet to powdery would be bad for the trees there given the winds. Only saving grace is the Cape trees are pretty gnarly and tough from the abuse they take each year anyway.

Oh maybe near outer Cape? When I was working on some houses at the time in Osterville, the snow was fairly dry. But a shit ton of it.

Maybe it was. It was a surreal scene though. It looked like it went 32.5F for an hour before temps crashed and they got bombed. I wish Jimmy was here, he probably had pics under his mattress for an occasional self massage.
