It was pretty impressive when it went thru just past midnight last night. 5° drop in 3 minutes and 15° in 10 minutes. No real gusts as the wind shift happened. It just sorta oozed through.

Just made the drive up 89 to Burlington (BTV).  It was 41 as I left my house.  7 miles later I got on the highway in Sharon and it was 34 (where the 45 is shown).  20 miles up the highway it was 23 (where it shows the 52).  It was pretty much 52 the whole rest of the way, only took 10 or 15 minutes longer than usual.

It really is amazing how one storm can wipe out snowpack to Maine . In one day . Feet wiped out

Not all of Maine.  Im heading up this afternoon….northern Maine is buried, and they are under a winter storm warning as we speak for 5-11”.   No worries from Presque Isle on up.  Southern Maine got decimated. But they always do.

I thought you said for at least a day. Why don't we say 6 hour minimum.

Ya that’s not bad…but most didn’t see those winds outside of the coast and up high. Breezy and gusty sure, but nothing out of the ordinary for 98% of the forum.

Yea, I never had an issue with some strong gusts around 1K and near the coast...the bet was that I would lose power.
