NCBlizzard
Ended up with about 3.75” total here 4 miles north of RDU (measured every hour or so on a snowboard). Measuring on the board where I didn’t clear off throughout the storm, the actual snow depth is about 3” due to compaction and wind. Great storm! Beautiful out

VABILLUPS1
About 7" IMBY - Va. Beach. GDPS/RGEM definitely the winner on this one. Was rock steady while most of the other models wavered back and forth. Great event.

The emotional roller coaster leading up, then a small snow the day before, all day in 20’s, then a period of heavy dry snow and absolutely no mixing start till finish, now cold and cloudy the day after. What an awesome event, especially after all these years of letdowns. Not huge totals here but it sounds like it snowed everywhere in the state and most if not all of central NC hit warning criteria. Happy happy happy. About to go out for my 3rd walk of the day Cloudy? That line must be juuuust East. We haven’t had a cloud in the sky today here lol.. cbmclean
I'm gonna say somewhere between 4 - 5 inches here in Wilson, depending on where it was measured. May have started with 5+ before compaction. Best snow in years here.

Expand yea, i was amazed at how warm it felt in the sun and at how quickly the roads cleared. They were absolute sheets of ice this morning when i went out at 8:00. Consider if you’ve lived in Raleigh since the ‘60s, you’ve seen dozens of foot+ snows, and below zero temperatures.
